We are looking for a skilled QA Engineer who can take ownership of product quality across web, mobile, and software applications. You will work closely with product managers, developers, designers, and other stakeholders to test features, identify issues, improve release confidence, and help teams ship stable products.
This role is for someone who can understand business requirements, create clear test plans, execute manual and automated tests, and communicate issues in a way that helps engineering teams fix them quickly. You should be comfortable testing existing products, validating new features, checking edge cases, and making sure releases meet real user expectations.
You will not only find bugs. You will think through user flows, acceptance criteria, regression risks, usability issues, API behavior, data accuracy, performance concerns, and release readiness. You will be expected to improve QA processes, write clear bug reports, support test automation, and help prevent defects before they reach production.
This is a hands-on quality assurance role. You should be able to take features from requirement review to final validation, troubleshoot issues with structure, work closely with developers, and support reliable delivery across fast-moving product teams.
The ideal candidate has strong QA experience, solid understanding of testing methods, attention to detail, and the ability to improve product quality in real-world software environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Review requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria to identify testing needs.
- Create and execute test plans, test cases, regression tests, and release checklists.
- Perform manual testing across web, mobile, desktop, APIs, and backend workflows.
- Identify, document, prioritize, and track bugs with clear reproduction steps.
- Validate fixes, retest issues, and support release readiness before deployment.
- Work with developers and product teams to clarify expected behavior and improve feature quality.
- Support automated testing efforts using suitable QA tools and frameworks.
- Test integrations, forms, dashboards, user flows, permissions, payments, and edge cases.
- Improve QA processes, documentation, test coverage, and defect prevention practices.
- Monitor production issues and help identify quality gaps after release.
Candidate Requirements
- Strong experience in quality assurance, software testing, or QA engineering roles.
- Good understanding of manual testing, regression testing, functional testing, integration testing, and exploratory testing.
- Experience testing web applications, mobile applications, APIs, or SaaS products.
- Ability to write clear test cases, bug reports, and release validation notes.
- Familiarity with bug tracking and project management tools such as Jira, Linear, Trello, ClickUp, or similar.
- Basic understanding of APIs, databases, browser dev tools, logs, and common software workflows.
- Experience with test automation tools such as Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, Appium, Postman, or similar is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to identify edge cases, usability issues, and workflow gaps.
- Ability to communicate clearly with developers, product teams, and non-technical stakeholders.
- Practical mindset focused on improving quality, reducing release risk, and supporting stable product delivery.
Experience Level
Mid to senior level, typically 3+ years in QA, software testing, or quality engineering roles.
